The first step to register your new bike is to verify the warranty through the manufacturer's website. Visit their website and confirm the warranty for your specific product. Check what the warranty covers, and see if they offer an online registration option (which they almost certainly do). For example:

Manufacturers usually require proof of purchase, serial number, size, model of the product you are registering, as well as the registered owner's details, so make sure to have those handy and enter them accurately.
