When will my bike ship?

Our fulfillment center staff is working as hard as possible to ensure that every bike ordered is shipped out in a timely manner. Here are a couple scenarios to keep in mind for the estimated time of arrival (ETA) of your specific bike order.

  • Smaller Kids Bikes or Public Brand Bikes: You can expect these bikes to ship out within approximately 3-4 business days. They will be shipped in their original factory box without being pre-assembled.
  • In-Stock Bikes with "Wheelsmith Gold Label Assembly": For bikes in stock where “Wheelsmith Gold Label Assembly” is automatically selected as the shipping method, processing typically takes 5-6 business days. This includes the time needed for transfer to the fulfillment center and assembly, tuning, and packing.
  • Special Order Bikes: If you've ordered a special order bike, the shipping time may vary. The expected timing is usually indicated on the listing.
    • In-stock bikes with manufacturers generally display an ETA of 2-3 weeks on the site. This accounts for the time it takes us to receive the bike and then get it through the “Wheelsmith Gold Label Assembly” process before finally shipping the bike out to you.
    • Some bikes may have specific estimated dates beyond 2-3 weeks. These dates come to us directly from the manufacturers. These bikes are already allocated to use so you can order with confidence. These dates are only estimates and can be subject to change based on many factors such as supply chain availability.

Please keep in mind that we do not have an option to ship bikes without using our “Wheelsmith Gold Label Assembly” method. It is mandated by the manufacturers that we carry that every bike we sell gets professionally assembled and inspected prior to reaching your doorstep. Once a bike is assembled, packing the bike safely for transit takes time and our proprietary packing methods will protect the bike as best as possible from damage in transit. 

After your bike has been shipped, we will promptly send you the tracking information so you can follow its journey to your doorstep.
