Why are one or more of the parts on my bike different from the spec sheet?

While brands spec their bikes with certain components, at some times they need to ship bikes to dealers with different components due to availability. While not ideal, if spec is changed it will always be for parts of equal value and performance.

In the bicycle industry, suppliers and factories may change specs without notice. This is because bicycles consist of numerous parts sourced from various vendors. Parts are sometimes updated to the most current production generation/iteration or changed based on their availability due to supply chain constraints.

This approach allows manufacturers to maintain a steady inventory flow throughout the year, rather than potentially facing delays of weeks to months or even a year for specific parts. For this reason, we do include the following disclaimer on every product page:

*Product specifications are subject to change without notice.
