Why are parts on my bike different from the spec sheet?
Brands spec their bikes with specific components, but sometimes, due to availability, they need to ship bikes with different components. While not ideal, if spec is changed it should be for parts of equal value and performance.

In the bicycle industry, suppliers and factories may change specs without notice. This is because bicycles consist of numerous parts sourced from various vendors. Parts are sometimes updated to the most current production generation/iteration or changed based on their availability due to supply chain constraints.
This approach allows manufacturers to maintain a steady inventory flow throughout the year, rather than potentially facing delays while waiting for specific parts. For this reason, both we and manufacturers include the following disclaimer on every product page:
